Updates: Link to Tucson Music Hall “Clear Bags” policy added 11/30/21. Additional guidance on home tests added 12/3/21.
As we approach A Southwest Nutcracker, TRB is making the safety of its audience, dancers, guest musicians, staff, and other fellow residents of Southern Arizona a top priority. To attend A Southwest Nutcracker in December 2021, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the performance, supported by valid photo identification, will be required of all audience members, including children. Audience members will also be required to wear a mask throughout the performance. TRB encourages its audience to upload a photo of their vaccine card or use an app to store it on their phone.
EDITED TESTING GUIDANCE: We have been informed by several audience members that some Pima County testing centers are refusing to test individuals who state they need the results to attend an event, and are handing out a home test instead. In light of this situation, we are accepting home test results. Please take a photo of your home test result to show at the theatre. We will ask you to sign a statement attesting that the results belong to the attendee. Also, rapid tests are acceptable proof. You do not need to get a PCR test, as results from those tests can take longer than the 72 hours we ask for. If you have a unique situation, please contact us.
Testing centers in Pima County may be located through their website.
Tucson Music Hall currently has a Clear Bags policy in place. Large bags, briefcases, backpacks, luggage, and convertible backpack purses are strictly prohibited. Only clear bags may be used, and bags that are larger than 14″ x 16″ will not be permitted through the security zone. Guests entering the facility are subject to security screen and bag search. Tucson Convention Center does not provide storage for any confiscated baggage. Read more about attending an event at the Tucson Music Hall on their website.
At this time, the same restriction is in place for Excerpts from Don Quixote. As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve in Pima County, this may change. Please bookmark this page and check back in January 2022 for the current protocols.
If you have already purchased tickets prior to the posting of this requirement, and you will be unable to comply with this requirement, please contact Bridget Wilde at email@example.com to arrange for a credit.
TRB encourages everyone to be vaccinated and to follow the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and the Pima County Health Department.
